Die Ulefone uWear kann als Einsteiger-Smartwatch verstanden werden, denn sie kostet nur etwa 20 Euro. Optisch ist die Ulefone uWear stark an die Apple Watch angelehnt, bietet aber natürlich deutlich weniger. Verfügbar ist sie im deutschen Handel jedoch nicht, sondern muss importiert werden. Dazu eignet sich beispielsweise der chinesische Versandhändler Gearbest, von dem wir die Smartwatch auch für den Test zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen haben.

Der Lieferumfang der Ulefone uWear fällt äußert knapp aus. Neben der Smartwatch gibt es nur eine kurze englische Anleitung. Die Anleitung könnte durchaus ausführlicher sein und ein Ladekabel vermisst man leider auch. Zwar wird die uWear per MicroUSB geladen und fast jeder hat inzwischen ein Smartphone mit MicroUSB-Kabel, aber eben nicht alle.

Die Ulefone uWear macht einen guten ersten Eindruck. Sie sieht fast genauso aus wie die Apple Watch und die Vearbeitung stimmt auch. Die Vorderseite ist mit einem 2.5D Glas abgedeckt unter dem sich das 1,44 Zoll Display mit 128 x 128 Pixeln Auflösung versteckt. Die niedrige Auflösung erkennt man, sie reicht jedoch meiner Meinung nach aus und bei einem Preis von 20 Euro kann man sich darüber nicht beschweren.

Positiv überrascht hat mich das Armband, welches sich sehr angenehm anfühlt. Es besteht aus Gummi und hat einige Löcher, so kann jeder die richtige Größe für sich einstellen. Den überschüssigen Rest kann man einfach durch eine Öffnung unters Armband schieben damit er nicht lose rumbaumelt.

Auf der rechten Seite der Smartwatch befindet sich der Power-Button, der ebenso zur Navigation genutzt wird – drückt man ihn kommt man wieder zur App-Übersicht. Oberhalb des Power-Buttons befindet sich der MicroUSB-Port zum Laden. Dieser ist mit einer Klappe verschlossen, die nicht ganz einfach zu öffnen ist. Das ist wohl der IP65-Zertifizierung geschuldet, durch die die Smartwatch wasserdicht ist.
